What is TotalHealthMD Clinic & Wellness Center?

TotalHealthMD provides treatment for acute and chronic illnesses, minor injuries/surgeries and women's health (except maternity care) to patients in Greencastle and Putnam County Indiana.

Staffed by leading physicians and nurse practitioners, we offer two types of memberships: Individual and Employer-based.

How do I know if TotalHealthMD is right for me?

TotalHealthMD is NOT for:

  • People with Medicare
  • People with Medicaid
  • People who are NOT able to pay at the time of service
  • People who require on-going controlled substances or chronic pain management prescriptions or laboratory tests

TotalHealthMD is for:

  • People with NO health insurance
  • People with insurance but HIGH co-pay
  • People with insurance but HIGH deductible
  • People with limited insurance coverage
  • People with insurance but with costly prescriptions or laboratory tests

Who can be seen at the clinic?

All individuals who have purchased a membership can be seen. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare, and we cannot accommodate members or individuals requiring Chronic Pain/Controlled Substance management.

Can my primary care doctor be sent my medical records from the Clinic?

Yes, upon member’s request and a signed authorization letter for release of medical records.

We are conveniently located at 305 Medic Way in Greencastle, Indiana, next to Putnam County Hospital. [View Map]

What services are provided at the Clinic?

Your membership gets you unlimited office visits, low cost prescriptions, low-cost labs and much more. See our services page for a complete list of services provided free or low cost to TotalHealthMD members.

What are the clinic hours?

Monday thru Friday from 8am-12noon and 1pm-5pm (excluding major holidays).

What do I need to bring with me to the clinic?

You will need a photo I.D.

What happens if I don't show up for an appointment?

Members are allowed 3 no-shows per calendar year before they are disqualified from membership.

Do I have to pay anything for a visit to the clinic?

Members have unlimited office visits with no co pays. Other services may require a fee at discounted prices. Visit our Services Page for more details

What if I need a medication the clinic does not carry?

The clinic carries 100+ medications. If your particular medication is not on the list, your TotalHealthMD provider will write a prescription to be filled at the pharmacy of your choice.

Are there any hidden costs?

No! TotalHealthMD will always fully disclose any and all costs associated with your membership plan.

Does this take the place of insurance?

No, TotalHealthMD membership gives individuals without insurance affordable access to medical care. Your membership can also serve as an alternative or supplement if you have insurance but are burdened with high deductibles, high co-pays, or limited coverage.

What if I'm dissatisfied with services at TotalHealthMD?

TotalHealthMD strives for utmost customer satisfaction, and we welcome comments, suggestions and recommendations. However, we will respect your decision if you choose not to renew your contract.

Are minors eligible to join?

Yes, we are currently accepting minors (3-17 years old) to our plan. Minors must have a parent or guardian sign the annual contract.
